Practice on your own what it takes to "catch" a ball under Prof. Finkelman's (known in his old neighborhood as "Stonefingers" Finkelman, the kid who was always the last pick in pick-up games) theory of possession. (Finkelman says "possession occurs when an individual intends to take control of a ball and manifests that intent by stopping the forward momentum of the ball whether or not complete control is achieved.." p. 119)
